Your 7 Day Reflection

Pause. Reflect. Become More Aware.

The Animal Aware 7-Day Reflection Programme invites you to slow down and explore your relationship with other living beings.

Through a series of short daily reflections, you are encouraged to look beyond habits, assumptions and automatic thinking, and to consider questions about awareness, compassion, responsibility and connection.

There are no right or wrong answers.

The purpose is not to tell you what to think, but to create space for deeper reflection and greater awareness of yourself, others and the wider living world.

How to Use These Reflections

Each day:

  • Read the reflection slowly.

  • Pause before answering.

  • Notice your thoughts and reactions.

  • Consider different perspectives.

  • Reflect on whether the question changes how you see yourself, animals or the world around you.

You may wish to write your thoughts down, discuss them with others, or simply sit quietly with the question.

Connecting Reflection to Action

Reflection becomes more meaningful when connected to real-world experiences.

You can explore Animal Aware's Issues resources to learn how animal welfare is affected by human choices and to consider the role awareness may play in creating positive change.
